FACTS ABOUT HIV/AIDS !!!
HIV can *never survive in any other liquid* medium also other than blood or semen (& please for God sake ... never in Pani Puri wala pani)
* Even if one drinks an HIV infected blood (or semen) of someone(ingest through Gastro Intestinal track), the virus can not survive intheacidic pH of stomach*.
* Exposure of less than 1 second in AIR KILLS the HIV virus*(hencestory of needle pricks in Cinema theatres is a crap). Even if bloodfroma wound (of infected person) dries up (*blood clot*), *the virusdies*and can not infect anyone else
* HIV transmission is *ONLY* an *INFECTION* i.e.entrance of virus inone's body. It *DOES NOT MEAN AIDS*.
* An HIV-infected person (after entrance of virus) can progress to acondition of AIDS only after *8 to 10 YEARS *(not in 15 days as in thePani Puri story)
* It is *not HIV (virus) that kills a human* .....the virus attacksimmune cells (cells that fight against foreign pathogens/antigens) andhence a person's ability to fight against infections & diseases slowlydiminishes and person ultimately dies of a disease which could be assimple as TB
* Most importantly, HIV is no longer a dreadful disease ... it is"*CHRONIC MANAGEABLE DISEASE*" just like Diabetes or Hypertension.
* If there is anything you need to be careful from to prevent HIV isUnsafe sex*, *Blood transfusion* (check before taking) /Blood donation(use sterilized needles only) and any *blood contact during an accident*or so where amount of bleeding is very high.

CONDOM USAGE, HEALTH EDUCATION - 9 STEPS !!!
1 Check for the expiry date on the condom before usage।
2. Carefully remove the condom from its packet.Be careful not to snag the condom.
3. Make sure that the condom is in the right way round. Wait till your penis is erect before putting on the condom. If you are uncircumcised, remember to pull back the foreskin before putting the condom on.
4.With one hand, you should pinch the condom by the teat or close end, squeezing out any trapped air.
5.Still holding the tip of the condom, use your other hand to unroll the condom down the full length of your penis. Make sure the condom go down rolls down as far as it will go. Smooth out any air bubbles.
6. Apply plenty of water-based lubricant over the condom and on your partner’s anus.
7. During sex, check from time to time that the condom is still in one piece. Apply more water- based lubricant during sex if necessary.
8. Soon after ejaculation, withdraw your penis whiles it is still erect by holding the condom firmly in place. Remove the condom only when your penis is fully withdrawn.
9. Dispose of the use condom hygienically. Wrap the condom in a tissue and place it in a bin. (Do not flush it down the toilet). Remember only use a condom once.
